Stunning Combined Bathroom Transformation!
The bathroom previously looked fine on the surface but dodgy plumbing was causing serious problems behind the scenes!
I was first contacted back in September 2019 in regard to providing a quotation for a very problematic bathroom! Whilst in conversation, I was informed by the home owner that she'd had nothing but problems with water leaks from badly installed plumbing. When I visited the property, I could see that water had damaged external walls of the bathroom, which had also caused damage to adjoining walls in two bedrooms. A plumber had been called out previously to try and fix the plumbing leaks, but upon close inspection, I could see that the plumber had not actually solved any of the plumbing problems and in fact that he'd only added to the problems by partially cutting in to one of the water pipe fittings with a hacksaw blade whilst trying to create an inspection hole in the wall! Needless to say, the plumber also charged a considerable amount of money for his time spent worsening the problems!
The homeowner, Katie, expressed how she had tried to make the best of the bathroom with freshening up the walls with new paint and renewing the basin and toilet, however she was now tired of consistent and recurring problems and wanted a professional company who could sort the bathroom out once and for all! Katie also advised how she would like the new bathroom to look and explained how she really hoped it would be possible to relocate the toilet to the left hand wall instead of it being positioned in the middle of the bathroom opposite the doorway and hallway stairwell.
After some further thought and discussion, the forthcoming bathroom project was agreed upon and work started in late November 2019 to put things right. As luck would have it, the bathroom was finished well in time for Christmas and whilst working at the house, I very much enjoyed the company of the pet dog, Golden Retriever named Oden!
