Classy combined bath and shower installation!

Sometimes, its not just the nature of the project that makes my job enjoyable! Over the years, I have been very fortunate to work for some wonderful people and on this particular occasion, my client was just that!

I first looked at this bathroom 5 years ago but regrettably there was a difference in opinion and so another company was chosen to do the installation. Unfortunately, what a costly mistake that turned out to be as the new bathroom was installed to such a poor standard! The wall tiles had been installed uneven and soon after installation, the grout had started to crack and deteriorate in many places. The floor tiles had also worked loose due to the incorrect substrate and tile adhesive being used. The towel radiator had never worked from day 1 and the walls had been plastered but very uneven in places. To summarise, the general overall finish of the bathroom was nothing less than appalling!

It was therefore very satisfying for me to go in and strip everything out and carry out the install the way it should have all been done in the first place! The room was totally stripped out and firstly new plumbing was installed. Several walls were stripped back to brick, ceiling installation installed and then re-boarded and plastered. You will see from the video, that the bathroom is finished in beautiful blue glazed ceramic tiles measuring 7.5 x 30 cm and wooden grain effect luxury vinyl tiles installed on the floor. Take a look at the finished project below.
