Disused cupboard to luxurious loo!

The room you now see, used to be a disused walk in cupboard with polystyrene ceiling tiles and wood chip wall paper! The room had some ugly shelving and a louvre type cow boy door. The flooring consisted of tatty vinyl floor tiles and quarry tiles were found underneath! So silly me, I didn't take any before photos so hopefully you are able to picture how the room looked!

Fortunately, the room was adjacent to an exterior wall with the main soil pipe of the house positioned very close by so I was able to plumb in to the soil stack and extend it to the WC with very little trouble at all. Hot and cold pipes were also located in the next room so again, I had very little difficulty taking feeds off of the existing plumbing and re routing it to the new WC. I completely stripped the room back to brick and to my surprise, found retro tiles beneath the wood chip paper! Next, I removed the ceiling and re-boarded all walls and ceiling throughout and gave it all a fresh coat of plaster. With all the preparation now done, I gave the newly plastered walls and ceiling 3 coats of bathroom paint and commenced tiling using 30 x 30 cm Quartz tiles. The project duration was 12 days. Take a look at the video below to see the finished project.
